‘The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest fields’
MATTHEW 9:37-38
New and Renewing Churches rely on interest from the Local Mission Support Fund to finance their support of missional renewal, church planting and church plants. However, there’s always more to do in mission. We invite you to donate so that we can continue to provide training, resources, coaching, and advice to congregations, emerging and establishing church plants, and to church planters and evangelists.
You can make a one-off donation now with your credit card, via the LLL. Or you might like to set up a regular donation from your bank account, using LLL’s direct debit system. To do that, you’ll need to download and complete the Direct Debit form.
When Rockingham Mandurah Lutheran Church (RMLC) in Western Australia began its church-planting journey, they knew they wouldn’t be able to source all the funding from within their community. Meanwhile, the 16-member Redeemer congregation at Nairne in the Adelaide Hills had plans to support a church plant in northern Adelaide with some proceeds of a 2006 land sale. That plant didn’t materialise and so, when Redeemer members learnt of RMLC’s need, they donated $50,000. Through this and other gifts to church plants, Redeemer members hope ‘people will be led to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and be saved’.
